Turning The Corner Albert Fisher is an irresponsible, underacheiving college student who sees all his friends approaching graduation. Albert has never allowed school to get in the way of a good time, but seeing his friends prepare for their futures forces him to consider his own. Albert must face more than the prospect of graduation--Albert is a quadriplegic.
"Turning The Corner" follows Albert attempting to become a serious adult. A lasting relationship and some career direction--two paths Albert has always avoided--are now intended goals. Leaving behind his slacker nature is not easy and produces several amusing detours.
Director Daniel M. McCormack is a quadriplegic himself. This brought an honesty to the film that is unmistakable.
The cast brought these characters to life, with notable performances throughout the movie. An experienced crew successfully created all elements of production and captured the performances skillfully.
